Elevate Excavation and Development is seeking an experienced Excavation Foreman to join our team. The Excavation Foreman will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing excavation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Plan, organize, and supervise excavation projects from start to finish.
- Ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate excavation crews.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to crew members.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate heavy equipment as needed.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure its proper functioning.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure work is performed to meet Elevate Excavation's high-quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to guarantee work meets specifications.
- Safety Compliance:
- Promote and enforce safety protocols and practices on job sites.
- Conduct safety meetings and training as necessary.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, clients, and team members.
- Report project progress, issues, and changes in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in excavation and construction.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of excavation techniques and best practices.
- Understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans.
- CDL license is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
