An acclaimed luxury destination resort is seeking an inspired and visionary Executive Chef to lead its culinary program. This role offers the opportunity to shape and elevate a distinctive dining experience within an intimate, design-forward property known for its sense of place and exceptional guest service.

The Executive Chef is responsible for defining the culinary identity of the resort, ensuring excellence in execution, and driving financial performance — all while cultivating a culture of creativity, collaboration, and uncompromising standards.

Culinary Vision & Brand Stewardship

  • Curate seasonally driven menus that reflect a refined yet approachable culinary philosophy, rooted in quality ingredients and regional influence.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Food & Beverage to position the restaurant as a premier dining destination within a highly competitive luxury market.
  • Introduce innovative culinary concepts that elevate the guest experience and reinforce the property's reputation for excellence.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador of the resort, engaging with guests, VIP clientele, ownership, and community partners.
  • Participate in curated events, media opportunities, and special culinary activations that enhance brand presence.
  • Maintain an acute awareness of global culinary trends and thoughtfully adapt them to align with the resort’s identity.

Guest Experience & Excellence

  • Ensure every dish reflects precision, artistry, and consistency worthy of a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Foster meaningful guest engagement by maintaining a presence in dining spaces and responding thoughtfully to feedback.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to ensure service teams are deeply knowledgeable and confident in articulating the culinary narrative.
  • Uphold the highest standards of presentation, sanitation, and culinary craftsmanship.

Leadership & Culture

  • Inspire and mentor a high-performing culinary brigade with an emphasis on professionalism, accountability, and growth.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top culinary talent aligned with a culture of excellence and respect.
  • Conduct structured performance evaluations and establish individualized development pathways for team members.
  • Lead daily culinary briefings with clarity and purpose, ensuring seamless collaboration between kitchen and service teams.
  • Model composure, integrity, and passion in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

Operational & Financial Stewardship

  • Drive profitability through strategic menu engineering, disciplined cost controls, and thoughtful purchasing practices.
  • Oversee labor management, scheduling, and inventory systems to optimize operational efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Maintain rigorous standards in food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
