Executive ChefCibolo Creek Ranch is seeking a hands-on Executive Chef to lead and elevate the culinary program at a high-end, destination guest ranch in West Texas.This is a working chef position. The Executive Chef is expected to be actively involved in daily prep and service, setting the standard for execution, organization, and consistency across the kitchen.The culinary program is rooted in refined American and Mexican cuisine, with an emphasis on quality ingredients, disciplined technique, and thoughtful presentation aligned with a luxury guest experience.This role requires a chef who can lead from the front, develop a team, and consistently execute at a high level in a unique, remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily kitchen operations with direct involvement in prep and serviceSet and maintain high standards for food quality, execution, and presentationTrain, mentor, and develop kitchen staff with a focus on fundamentals and consistencyBuild a structured, accountable, and professional kitchen cultureOversee all aspects of food production, including prep, plating, and service flowDevelop and refine menus based on seasonality, product availability, and guest expectationsManage ordering, inventory, food cost, and waste controlMaintain strong organizational systems, including labeling, storage, and FIFO practicesEnsure the kitchen is fully prepared and staffed for all servicesCollaborate with leadership to align the culinary program with the overall guest experienceUphold all health, safety, and sanitation standardsQualifications35+ years of progressive culinary experience, including leadership in a high-standard kitchenProven ability as a hands-on chef, not solely an administrative managerStrong foundation in both American and Mexican cuisineDemonstrated experience training and developing kitchen teamsOrganized, disciplined, and detail-orientedComfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environmentBilingual English/Spanish preferredExperience in luxury hospitality, resorts, or destination properties is a strong plusThe EnvironmentCibolo Creek Ranch is a luxury destination property located in a remote region of West Texas.The setting is rugged and remote, while the guest experience is refined and high-end.
