CASDA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

CASDA is seeking a proven educational leader to continue the growth and progress of an outstanding educational association. The successful candidate should be defined by a leadership style that is reasoned, decisive, and collaborative. The ideal candidate:

• Builds coalitions and works collaboratively with a broad range of diverse individuals.
• Fosters an environment of forward thinking and innovation.
• Motivates others and creates a culture that promotes collaboration, creativity, and results-driven solutions.
• Communicates effectively and openly with member districts and CASDAs Executive Committee.
• Takes initiative and demonstrates the ability to guide an evolving organization.
• Keeps current on educational trends, methods, research, and advancements in culturally responsive practices in public schools and institutions.
• Makes others feel at ease through active listening and demonstrates a sense of humor.
• Proactively oversees the management of operational and financial areas for the organization to ensure high quality services and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have experience leading school districts, schools, or educational institutions. School district level or higher education management, and graduate degree in education and advanced school district leadership certificate preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Albany, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)
