The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that every project meets safety, schedule, financial, and operational expectations. This role involves championing the adoption of consistent processes, modern technologies, and performance metrics to enhance project delivery. As part of the executive leadership group, the VP will also play a key role in shaping corporate strategy, supporting growth initiatives, and representing the company within the utility and infrastructure sectors. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Project Management include providing executive leadership for enterprise-wide project management operations, creating and maintaining PMO frameworks, and establishing KPIs for project performance. The role also involves leading portfolio reporting, collaborating with various departments to ensure project alignment, and guiding organizational transformation for improved efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree strongly preferred, and a minimum of 15 years' experience in managing large-scale construction, utility, or infrastructure projects, including at least 5-7 years in an executive or senior-level project management leadership position. Deep knowledge of project controls, financial management, and a proven track record of implementing standardized project management practices are essential. The VP must also demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
