We are looking for a passionate and experienced Manager to join our team and share the delightful world of chocolate with our guests. As our ECP & Retail Manager, you will oversee all retail operations, special events, and factory tours, providing world-class customer service and immersive and educational experiences for guests as they explore the history, production process, and flavors of our chocolate.

Schedule: On-site, full-time (40 hours/week, 5 days per week), within the range of Monday – Saturday 9am – 6pm. This position may require flex hours and working evenings, as needed.
Compensation: $78,000.00/annual
Reports to: Director of ECP & Retail
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Retail Operations and Merchandizing
- Manage day-to-day operations of the ECP retail store.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory and place orders.
- Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising strategy to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Ensure products are displayed in an appealing and organized manner, following brand guidelines
- Regularly update store displays to reflect seasonal products and promotions.
Factory Tour Management
- Oversee the schedule and operations of factory tours for our guests.
- Conduct, train, and supervise Chocolate Ambassadors to deliver engaging and informative tours, which may include facilitating up to one tour per day as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean tour environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Continuously improve tour experiences based on guest feedback and industry trends.
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop Chocolate Ambassadors to create remarkable customer interactions, both in store and on tours.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to ensure the team is knowledgeable and customer focused.
- Conduct new hire interviews and work with the Director of Retail to assess team performance and weigh in on decisions made.
Event Planning
- Plan, organize, and execute special events such as the Haunted Factory, wine & chocolate tastings and additional themed chocolate events.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote events and increase attendance.
- Coordinate with vendors, caterers, and other partners as necessary.
- Ensure events are executed smoothly on budget and meet or exceed guest expectations.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3+ years of experience in retail or customer service management.
· Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for lifting people up and inspiring greatness.
· Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative event concepts and merchandising strategies.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires walking, standing, and being on your feet for long periods of time. Additionally, it requires climbing stairs in the factory during tours, and may require lifting/pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of previous customer service and/or retail experience.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
