We are seeking an Emergency Veterinarian in Havlock NC. You will play a key role in managing emergency cases, performing surgeries, and providing high-quality care in critical situations. You will work with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pets in need of urgent attention. This role is ideal for a veterinarian with experience in emergency care and a passion for making a difference during critical moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical and surgical care for critically ill or injured animals.
• Perform emergency diagnostics, including radiography, ultrasound, and laboratory testing.
• Administer anesthesia and perform emergency surgeries as needed.
• Provide stabilization and life-saving care for patients in critical condition.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis.
• Work closely with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to provide comprehensive emergency care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Stay up to date with current emergency veterinary practices and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

• DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary school.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in emergency or critical care veterinary medicine is preferred, but new graduates with a strong background in emergency care may be considered.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and emergency care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
