Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. This position will work closely with our Nurse Practitioner while also supporting our chiropractic team as needed. The ideal candidate is experienced, adaptable, team-oriented, and genuinely passionate about patient care.

This is a fast-paced, patient-centered office that values professionalism, efficiency, and outstanding bedside manner.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Perform blood draws (phlebotomy)

  • Administer injections (Vitamin, Peptide, etc)

  • Take and record vitals

  • Assist the Nurse Practitioner with exams and procedures

  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms

  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation

  • Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Verify insurance benefits and eligibility

  • Assist with prior authorizations

  • Schedule patient appointments

  • Conduct follow-up calls

  • Check patients in and out as needed

  • Maintain clear communication with patients regarding care plans

Chiropractic Support (as needed)

  • Assist with therapy setup (e.g., muscle stimulation, decompression, etc.)

  • Support office flow during busy shifts

  • Collaborate with chiropractic assistants to ensure smooth patient care

Qualifications

  • Current MA license/certification (required)

  • Proven experience with phlebotomy and injections

  • Strong understanding of insurance verification and authorizations

  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Team player with a positive, proactive attitude

  • Willingness to cross-train and support multiple departments
