Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. This position will work closely with our Nurse Practitioner while also supporting our chiropractic team as needed. The ideal candidate is experienced, adaptable, team-oriented, and genuinely passionate about patient care.This is a fast-paced, patient-centered office that values professionalism, efficiency, and outstanding bedside manner.Clinical ResponsibilitiesPerform blood draws (phlebotomy)Administer injections (Vitamin, Peptide, etc)Take and record vitalsAssist the Nurse Practitioner with exams and proceduresPrepare and clean treatment roomsMaintain accurate EMR documentationEnsure proper sterilization and infection control protocolsAdministrative ResponsibilitiesVerify insurance benefits and eligibilityAssist with prior authorizationsSchedule patient appointmentsConduct follow-up callsCheck patients in and out as neededMaintain clear communication with patients regarding care plansChiropractic Support (as needed)Assist with therapy setup (e.g., muscle stimulation, decompression, etc.)Support office flow during busy shiftsCollaborate with chiropractic assistants to ensure smooth patient careQualificationsCurrent MA license/certification (required)Proven experience with phlebotomy and injectionsStrong understanding of insurance verification and authorizationsExcellent bedside manner and communication skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedTeam player with a positive, proactive attitudeWillingness to cross-train and support multiple departmentsWhat We’re Looking ForSomeone who takes initiative and sees what needs to be doneA true team player who supports coworkersProfessional, dependable, and compassionateComfortable working in an integrated medical/chiropractic setting
