Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Medical Assistant located in Crawfordville, FL. The medical assistant will perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation of the medical facility. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting healthcare providers during patient examinations, preparing patients for tests and procedures, updating patient medication list if needed,recording patient vitals, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology
• Experience in working within a Medical Office and managing Medical Records
• Strong skills in providing direct Patient Care with attention to detail and empathy and compassion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures in a healthcare setting
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is an advantage
