PAY RATE: $34-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • 1st Shift: Mon Thu, 5:30 AM 4:00 PM

  • 2nd Shift: Mon Thu, 3:00 PM 1:30 AM

  • Clearance: Must have or be in process at start

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Conducting incoming/outgoing flight operations, follow-on maintenance, and routine troubleshooting
  • Performing and assisting with launch, recovery, preflight, through-flight, and post-flight inspections

  • Handling ground operations, engine runs, operational checkouts, and aircraft servicing

  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems

  • Ensuring the acceptability of electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight controls, airframe condition, furnishings, and crew escape systems

  • Removing panels and hardware as needed to access equipment requiring repair

Requirements:

  • Aircraft Crew Chief/Mechanic experience: 4 6 years

  • Flightline maintenance: 1 2 years

  • F-16 experience: 4 6 years (preferred)

  • Fighter aircraft experience (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-35): 4 6 years (preferred)

  • Aircraft flightline experience preferred

  • Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift after training

  • Key Aircraft Systems Knowledge:

    • Landing gear

    • Powerplants

    • Flight controls

    • Fueling/defueling operations

    • Aircraft movement, launch, and recovery

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
