Urgently looking for F5 Network Engineer for our client in Central New Jersey.
Title: F5 Network Engineer
Location: Central New Jersey (Bridgewater, NJ)
Duration: Long-Term (2-3 years)
Hourly: $90 - $95 per hour (W2)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Tier-3/4 level support for F5 related architecture
- Familiar with F5 Architecture and comfortable with creating and managing multiple Route Domains and/or Partitions
- Ability to listen and collaborate with audiences ranging from IT administrators to executive level stakeholders to help deliver solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify root causes of issues and provide solutions
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate and educate others about complex technology with business acumen
- Hands on knowledge of TCP/IP and UNIX/LINUX variants.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of network devices (routers, switches, etc.) including such topics as HTTP headers, ISO layers, and TCP flags
- Lead complex troubleshooting efforts and on-site/remote support
Must-to-Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related field
- Minimum 8+ years of Network Engineering experience
- Strong 4-5 years of F5 experience
- Highly preferred: F5 Certified Technology Specialist or Solutions Expert Level Certification: 300 series or higher
- Experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network equipment and solutions, including Cisco, Palo Alto, and ForcePoint
Nice-to-Have:
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP Certification preferred
- Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
- Understanding of Cloud technologies (Google Cloud Platform, Azure or AWS)
- Experience with Identity Governance Products (SailPoint, Oracle, Saviynt etc.)
