About the Role:

If you are looking for an exciting opportunity and are someone who enjoys working with customers, are collaborative, have passion, energy, and want to make a tremendous impact, look no further. 

We have a newly created role that will have direct account responsibility for our small to mid-size customers. You’ll be working closely with internal colleagues to support your account base and develop new business opportunities using market intelligence and trends.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Daily interaction with customers that are small to mid-size.
  • Provide support to sales team (submitting requests to regulatory, quotes, etc.).
  • Work closely with customer service to support customer base and advise on any order delay or supply issues.
  • Develop key relationships across the organization including R&D, Manufacturing and Procurement.
  • Promote FFP products to customers via phone/email/digital marketing.
  • Defend current business with established customer base and create and manage total opportunity pipeline of quality growth projects with current and target customers.
  • Provide technical support to the assigned customer base by leveraging internal resources and subject matter experts.
  • Continually manage and strengthen customers’ relationship with Kerry.
  • Partner with commercial finance and supply chain leads to ensure business forecasts are consistent with expectations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or Food Science.
  • 3+ years proven experience in commercial sales (or technical sales support) role interacting directly with customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand competitive and marketplace knowledge and action plan to deliver a customer.
  • Must be capable of influencing others.
  • Have both technical and commercial understanding of food ingredients and flavors.
  • Earlier technical/functional experience in R&D, process manufacturing, operations or quality is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; Salesforce experience is preferred.
