Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform custom MIG and TIG welding and Fit Up job duties as required
• Must be able to read blue prints to perform welding and fit up responsibilities independently
• Must be able to weld carbon steel and stainless steel (experience with Inconel preferred)
• Quality work is a must
• Must be able to work independently with a minimum of supervision
• Must be oriented and capable of meeting daily goals of production
• Sometimes meet critical shipment windows to assure company production goals are met
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed by the company
• Perform all responsibilities mention above in a safe manner
• Able to perform various cutting process (Plasma, oxy, etc...)
• Experience working with positioners
• Lathe experience a plus but not required
• CNC burning table experience a plus but not required

Marginal Duties:

• Operate an overhead crane
• Operate a fork lift

Qualification Requirements:

• Demonstrated mechanical ability
• Communication skills with management, peers, and engineers
• Must be able to read and work from blue prints independently
• Must be able to perform several fit up and welding processes during the interview process before being considered for employment

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals as required by drawings and blue prints

Reasoning Ability:

• Able to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form

Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations:

• Welding certifications preferred
• Fork lift certified
• Valid Driver’s license

Other skills and abilities:

• Ability to problem solve and the use of basic hand tools
