Facilities And Laboratory Maintenance Apply
We are looking for a skilled addition to our Facilities and Laboratory Maintenance team. This group perform upkeep tasks such as repairs, preventative maintenance, and cleaning. We’ll rely on you to keep our laboratory and support facilities in perfect condition. You will be responsible for ensuring that facilities are professionally maintained and functional.
The ideal candidate will be reliable with a keen eye for detail, and have prior maintenance experience. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Perform maintenance & manual repairs when necessary (replace light bulbs, painting, basic carpentry & repair)
- Assist with daily facility and grounds upkeep and other tasks as needed
- Work with outside contractors/tradespeople to facilitate electrical, plumbing and HVAC repairs
- Assist with emergency/unscheduled repairs of facilities & equipment when issues arise
- Work with ETS staff to move or install fixtures & equipment
- Collaborate with ETS staff and vendors to complete reconfiguration and renovation projects
- Work with ETS staff to install and move basic IT, including computers, phones and more
- Help with warehousing and inventory, including lifting and transporting equipment in company vehicles
Requirements
YOUR TALENTS SHOULD INCLUDE
- Strong organizational and general repair skills
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Experience using a variety of hand and electrical tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING
- Availability to work flexible schedules when required, especially during peak analytical seasons
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Ability to travel
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires constant physical activity including walking, prolonged standing, lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
- Hand dexterity and strength, capable of repetitive motions including pushing and pulling
- Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Good physical condition and strength

Compensation
- The salary range for this role is: $21.00 - $28.00. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
