Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Assistant to maintain the efficient and smooth operation of the building and its operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
  • Receiving deliveries and preparing shipments
  • Troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs.
  • Performing general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
  • Receive, manage, and process work order requests; ensuring problems are resolved quickly.
  • Act as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as needed.
  • Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and messaging/video tools such as Microsoft Teams, or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
  • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • At least two years of related experience required.

Physical requirements include:

  • Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.

This is a first shift, Monday through Friday, onsite position. This full time role comes with excellent benefits such as Medical, dental, life, disability, 401k and others.
