Facilities Engineer Apply
Electroflow is unlocking domestic production of lithium iron phosphate (LFP), the battery material that will power an energy-abundant future. Using our proprietary electrochemical process, we collapse an incumbent 10-step brine-to-LFP supply chain into just three, making us on track to produce the lowest-cost LFP on the planet. After raising a $10 million Seed round backed by Union Square Ventures and Voyager Ventures, and being featured in The Wall Street Journal (twice!) and TechCrunch, we’re scaling fast to build America’s largest fully domestic LFP supply chain!
As a Facilities Engineer, you’ll take ownership of operations at our Bay Area site, ensuring our labs, pilot systems, and buildouts run safely and efficiently as we scale. You’ll manage critical facility infrastructure, lead buildout and maintenance projects, and collaborate with process, mechanical, and EHS teams to support Electroflow’s growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days look the same, and where your work directly supports breakthrough clean energy technology.
What You’ll Do
- Own facilities operations: Manage day-to-day site operations, including equipment maintenance, consumables procurement, and coordination with vendors and service providers.
- Lead buildouts and infrastructure upgrades: Support planning, layout, and execution of lab, pilot, and shop buildouts; coordinate contractors and track project progress.
- Maintain lab and equipment readiness: Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs; troubleshoot and coordinate repairs with vendors.
- Drive safety and compliance: Partner with EHS teams to maintain safety programs, audits, and waste management practices; ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local permitting standards.
- Hands-on problem solving: Move equipment, modify workspaces, and ensure facilities meet the evolving needs of the team.
- Manage vendors and inventory: Oversee supply chain for consumables and equipment, negotiate with suppliers, and track costs for efficiency.
