Role: Maintenance Technician
Location: Flower Mound, TX

Hours: 7a-3:30p / M-F

Currently seeking a Maintenance Technician based in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. This role is responsible for building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance across the portfolio of industrial properties. Experience in the trades is a must along with a good attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. A company van will be provided along with basic tools and a uniform.

Locations: Based out of Flower Mound, TX location but would need to travel to Justin, Haslet, Northlake, and Lewisville areas.

Job Description:

• Handyman work with experience with the trades (carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating / cooling, ventilation, roofing)
• Inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair / maintenance.
• Ability to utilize a computerized maintenance management system that can produce and track work orders, preventative maintenance and track facility assets.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution.
• Maintain accurate records of work using a computer-based ticketing system.

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, appliances, plumbing, drywall, and grounds maintenance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues
• Turn maintenance tasks around in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ability to represent yourself in a professional manner.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with building management and/or maintenance.
• Experience working with outside vendors and contractors a plus.
• Commercial electrical experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license Hiring will be subject to Driver Requirements.
• Background Check

• EPA certificate
• OSHA 10 or 30 certificate

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Ability to carry and lift 50lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders.
