Position Summary

George Industries is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of building systems, production support equipment, and facility infrastructure within our aerospace manufacturing environment. This role ensures facility readiness to support production while maintaining compliance with AS9100 quality standards, ITAR requirements, OSHA regulations, and applicable environmental standards.

This position supervises a small maintenance team and manages outside contractors. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader focused on equipment uptime, facility reliability, and audit readiness.

Essential Responsibilities

Facilities & Infrastructure

Oversee maintenance and operation of HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air, plumbing, lighting, and building systems.

Ensure facility conditions support production requirements and controlled manufacturing environments.

Maintain preventive and corrective maintenance programs using CMMS or equivalent systems.

Respond to facility or equipment issues to minimize downtime.

Maintenance Leadership

Supervise and prioritize work for a small maintenance team (1–3 employees).

Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair as needed.
