Facilities Maintenance Mechanic Apply
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and providing support to various departments. This role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and experience with fleet maintenance. The successful candidate will be able to analyze problems and fabricate tools and parts as needed. They must also be comfortable operating heavy machinery, including scissor lifts, and have experience with hydraulics and welding. The Facilities Technician will be responsible for conducting routine checks and repairs to ensure the safety and efficiency of our facilities.
**Duties:**
- - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including industrial system checks and repairs
- - Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- - Analyze and troubleshoot problems with facility systems and equipment
- - Fabricate tools and parts as needed to support maintenance activities
- - Operate heavy machinery, including scissor lifts, and perform repairs and maintenance tasks
- - Use a voltmeter and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues
- - Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- - Provide support to various departments, including operations, engineering, and facilities management
- - Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance practices
**Requirements:**
- - 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
- - Strong background in mechanical knowledge and industrial maintenance practices
- - Experience with industrial systems and hydraulics
- - Proficiency with welding and fabrication techniques
- - Ability to operate heavy machinery, including scissor lifts
- - Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, including volt meters
- - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- - High school diploma or equivalent required
- - Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- - Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
