Facilities Maintenance - United Quality Cooperative Are you a dependable and motivated individual who takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and well maintained? Do you enjoy hands‑on work that helps create a welcoming environment for employees and customers? If so, this Facilities Maintenance Worker position may be a great fit for you. United Quality Cooperative is a locally owned cooperative dedicated to providing dependable service and maintaining high standards across our locations. As a Facilities Maintenance Worker, you will play an essential role in cleaning, maintaining, and monitoring the interior and exterior of our store locations—ensuring all areas are safe, sanitary, functional, and visually appealing. Section 1: Duties/Responsibilities Ensure assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use. Maintain the physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment. Handle tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and garbage disposal. Receive, manage, and process work order requests to ensure quick problem resolution. Ensure safety standards are followed throughout the facility. Maintain inventory of supplies and notify the supervisor when reorders are needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Section 2: Required Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform well in a fast‑paced environment. Must have valid driver's license and be insurable under company policy. Section 3: Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
