Shift hours -7:00AM- 3:30PM, must be flexible to work 2nd shift as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing regular preventive maintenance, responding to unplanned breakdowns, and addressing minor repairs across various areas of our facility. Our ideal candidate has a strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience with various equipment and systems, and a dedication to maintaining safe, efficient operations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
Repairing broken or malfunctioning equipment.
Carrying out preventive maintenance to avoid potential breakdowns.
Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
Repairing parts of the facility that require basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, racking, flooring, plastic or metal fabrication, welding, or associated work.
Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Complying with all safety and health regulations.
Maintaining records of all maintenance and repair work carried out.
Ordering, maintaining inventory, and using facility supplies efficiently
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and strength, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
A valid drivers license
High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus##
