HERON CREEK GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB located in North Port, Florida is seeking a FULL-TIME FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHICIAN. Below is a summary of the job responsibilities for this position.

Reports to: Facilities Supervisor

· Facilities Department Sole responsibility is preparing the outside of all Common Grounds areas in preparation of the arrival of members and other customers, in order for them to experience a clean and orderly experience.

· Facilities Department is also responsible for the inside cleanliness of both the Main Clubhouse and the Fitness Center.

· Facilities employees will report to the Facilities Supervisor once their daily lists are completed with a signed-off checklist form.

· Once daily checklists are turned in, Facilities Employees will report to the supervisor for assigned work orders that need to be addressed. Once the work order is finished, it must be checked for completion by the supervisor and signed off by both the employee and the supervisor.

· Employees will not be pulled off their assignments by any other employee, with exception of the Facilities Supervisor or the General Manager.

· All work orders will come from department heads only and be forwarded to the Facilities Supervisor. The Facilities Supervisor will issue employees with their assigned work orders

· All Facilities Department Employees will report to the supervisor prior to clocking out at end of the day.

· Work orders can include anything from cleaning, small repairs such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, power washing, paver work, concrete work, pulling/spraying for weeds, mowing, edging, weed eating, landscaping, irrigation or other duties as required by supervisor.

· Employees must be able to work in the heat

· Employees must be able to climb ladders

· Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

 Job Requirements:

• Requires high school degree.
• Requires a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge in the areas of Electrical, Plumbing, Landscaping & Irrigation would be a plus but not required.
• Applicants MUST be willing to work an occasional weekend or on-call alternating weekend
