Duration: 12 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Shift Timings: Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Summary
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and facilities, including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration systems, HVAC, chillers, and associated pump packages. The role involves troubleshooting, conducting preventive maintenance, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements.
  • This position requires solid technical knowledge, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair equipment and facilities (electrical, plumbing, boilers, pretreatment systems, stills, refrigeration systems, HVAC units, chillers, and pump packages).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in collaboration with various departments.
  • Perform emergency repairs as required.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems per procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Order and maintain inventory of spare parts, consumables, and change tooling equipment.
  • Monitor facility and manufacturing equipment daily, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized services.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining documentation (blueprints, plans, permits, etc.) as per company and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs of facility and equipment operation and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety and operational policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent with technical certification in one or more mechanical and/or electrical trades.
  • Advanced industrial mechanic knowledge and skills.
  • Basic proficiency in industrial electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
  • Experience with air compressors, compressed air dryers, refrigeration, HVAC, and chillers.
  • Basic understanding of painting, carpentry, and small-scale construction.
  • Familiarity with 5-S principles and general manufacturing practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work overtime, off shifts, and respond to call-ins when required.
  • Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Must adhere to company policies and safety rules.
Desired Skills
  • Experience sourcing and purchasing industrial supplies.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements related to facility and equipment maintenance.
  • Prior exposure to blueprint reading and documentation management.
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume, high-quality production environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
