divh2Facilities Management Dispatcher/Office Coordinator/h2pThis position manages and coordinates all facility maintenance requests by receiving calls, creating and assigning work orders to technicians, tracking progress, and maintaining communication with all parties involved. Key responsibilities include prioritizing maintenance based on urgency, monitoring automated systems for alarms like HVAC and electrical issues, coordinating emergency responses, and performing administrative tasks to ensure efficient and seamless facility operations. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, decision-making skills, and proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or dispatch software. They report to Sr. Manager of Facilities Financial and Administrative Services./ppPosition Requirements:/pulliHigh School diploma or GED required, Associates or Bachelor degree Preferred./lili1 - 3 years of experience in dispatch service is preferred/li/ulpSkills and Abilities:/pulliExperience in maintenance industry strongly preferred./liliExperience in higher education setting preferred./liliAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively, especially in high-pressure situations./liliStrong attention to details and high interpersonal skills./liliStrong analytical and decision-making skills to determine the proper course of action for various issues./liliFamiliarity with work order management system (TMA or similar) and project management system (ProCore or similar) preferred./liliStrong leadership skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach to work./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for engagement with a variety of constituencies./li/ulpPosition Details:/ppThis is an intermittent, fixed-term role working up to 15 hours per week, 7:30am to 10:30am Monday to Friday.
