ERG seeks a Facilities Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of small- to medium‑scale facility maintenance, repair, and improvement projects at the Naval Support Facility (NSF) in Indian Head, MD. The role supports the operation of facilities by coordinating project scope, schedules, budgets, and contractor activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards and applicable regulations. Location Full‑time onsite position at the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head. Indian Head, MD, is approximately 30 miles from Washington, DC, 25 miles from Alexandria, VA, and 60 miles from Fredericksburg, VA. Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain project and production scheduling tools using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project, including action tracking spreadsheets, deliverable tracking spreadsheets, design and construction calendars, program budgets, and staffing plans. Work with management, engineers, designers, contractors, and vendors to coordinate project plans and schedules. Communicate necessary changes in schedule to project stakeholders, including the Infrastructure Division and Customer Advocate Office. Execute project cost management; analyze project budgets and spend plans, address concerns, and communicate potential issues to management. Analyze and present project performance data and conclusions to management. Support on‑site planning, including escorting survey, planning, and design teams. Serve as schedule lead and assist in project planning meetings. Review, compile, and distribute documents and status updates to stakeholders. Perform other various project support duties as requested by the client. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Three or more years of project management experience; federal contract, facility design, and construction management experience preferred. Experience managing facility maintenance, repair, renovation, or small construction projects. Knowledge of common building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural). Experience coordinating contractors and vendors. Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Expertise in advanced Microsoft Project, with the ability to develop and manage complex projects and troubleshoot existing projects. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred. Expertise in reviewing technical data packages and engineering drawings preferred. Experience supporting government or federal facilities preferred. Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret‑level security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen; this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations.
