MalaceHR is seeking a reliable Facilities Technician to support general maintenance and repair activities for assigned buildings. This role ensures facilities remain safe, secure, and fully operational by providing hands-on support across a wide range of systems and functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor facility conditions to ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance.

• Troubleshoot issues with power systems, HVAC systems and controls, and mechanical systems.

• Perform general and preventive maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and vendor coordination.

• Replace lighting system bulbs, ballasts, and related components as needed.

• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow direction.

• Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and building systems, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 0–2 years of facilities, maintenance, or related experience.
