Facilities Technician 1 Apply
MalaceHR is seeking a reliable Facilities Technician to support general maintenance and repair activities for assigned buildings. This role ensures facilities remain safe, secure, and fully operational by providing hands-on support across a wide range of systems and functions.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor facility conditions to ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance.

Troubleshoot issues with power systems, HVAC systems and controls, and mechanical systems.

Perform general and preventive maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and vendor coordination.

Replace lighting system bulbs, ballasts, and related components as needed.

Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
Skills & Competencies

Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow direction.

Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and building systems, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required.

0–2 years of facilities, maintenance, or related experience.
