MalaceHR is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at a 24/7 manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, with a focus on HVAC systems and general facility upkeep. This is a permanent position with the potential for long-term growth and conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building components.

• Monitor and inspect the facility to ensure safety, security, and proper operation.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, controls, power systems, and mechanical components.

• Replace lighting system bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures as needed.

• Perform carpentry and basic plumbing repairs.

• Move office furniture, machinery, and equipment as required.

• Coordinate with vendors and assist in managing service contracts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 2–4 years of facilities maintenance experience preferred.

• Working knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
