The Facility Engineer at McLane Global is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of building systems, utilities, and infrastructure. This role ensures that all facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. The Facility Engineer also supports capital projects, equipment upgrades, and energy efficiency initiatives. Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment Monitor and manage building automation systems (BAS) and energy consumption Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety Plan, coordinate, and supervise contractors and vendors for facility projects or repairs Assist in developing and managing the facility maintenance budget Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations Support capital improvement and facility expansion projects from concept to completion Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment histories Identify and implement energy-saving and sustainability initiatives Respond to emergency facility issues and provide technical support as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) 3-7 years of experience in facility or building engineering, preferably in manufacturing or large commercial environments Certifications (preferred): Professional Engineer (PE) License, Certified Facility Manager (CFM), LEED Accreditation, OSHA or EPA certifications Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems Proficient in CAD, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and MS Office Excellent problem-solving and project management skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals Strong communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy management systems Benefits Competitive base compensation Full Benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision effective on the first day of employment 401(k) with Employer Match (quarterly enrollment) Paid Holidays (no waiting period to receive holiday pay) Paid vacation, personal, and sick days effective on first day of employment All offers are contingent upon passing a background check and drug screening No company visa sponsorships No phone call or walk in inquiries for this position, apply online to be considered DISCLAIMER Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and if requested, reasonable accommodation will be provided to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job, absent undue hardship.
