Job Title: Facility / Site Supervisor Thermal Treatment Facility

Pay Rate: XX33/hour

Duration: 12 months, Full-time conversion possible within 3 6 months

Location: Fort Stockton TX 79735, Remote, highly regulated facility (West Texas area)

Work Environment

  • Remote, highly regulated site
  • 75% office-based work (compliance, reporting, documentation)
  • 25% hands-on field support (equipment operation, forklift use, driving light vehicles)
  • Direct supervisory responsibility

Schedule

  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
  • Overtime expected

Role Overview

The Facility/Site Supervisor is a critical leadership role at a highly regulated thermal treatment facility. This position works closely with management to ensure full execution of environmental, regulatory, operational, and safety standards. The Supervisor plays a key role in establishing, monitoring, and continuously improving environmental compliance, facility performance, and workforce effectiveness.

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations
  • Coordinate licensing and permitting activities with regulatory compliance teams
  • Maintain accurate regulatory compliance documentation
  • Prepare and submit regulatory and management reports within required timelines
  • Implement procedural updates in response to regulatory changes
  • Report compliance incidents through internal reporting systems
  • Participate in internal and external audits and inspections
  • Track, document, and close corrective actions in a timely manner
  • Provide regulatory guidance and compliance awareness training to employees

Environmental Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with contractors and regulatory agencies on environmental programs
  • Identify environmental risks and develop appropriate controls
  • Recommend updates to environmental procedures, work instructions, and checklists
  • Monitor implementation of environmental components within the HSE Management System
  • Plan and assist with compliance audits and self-assessments
  • Coordinate environmental training for employees and contractors
  • Ensure environmental documentation is current and available onsite
  • Support investigations of environmental incidents
  • Promote environmental awareness and employee engagement

Business & Operational Responsibilities

  • Implement best practices to maintain a professional and compliant facility
  • Supervise onsite staff to optimize efficiency and performance
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support business continuity and safe operations
  • Implement quality control and process improvements using LEAN methodologies
  • Align facility performance with global facility management strategies

Explosive Safety Officer Responsibilities (Training Provided)

  • Ensure explosives are authorized under applicable licenses
  • Verify that explosive users are properly authorized and trained
  • Maintain accurate explosive inventories and records
  • Ensure proper storage and transportation of explosive materials
  • Conduct facility self-assessments at least twice per year
  • Maintain required documentation per internal explosive safety standards
  • Implement all required components of the explosive safety program
  • Provide emergency and technical support when required

Experience & Skills

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in environmental waste management
  • Candidates should be familiar with: EPA, TCEQ, ATF, Environmental waste management practices, TSDF experience/knowledge

Education

  • High school diploma (minimum requirement)

    2. Panel Interview (3 5 interviewers)
