Role Description

This is a full-time in-person role for a Family Law Associate Attorney at Mathur Law Offices, P.C. The role involves handling legal issues related to family law, including motions, depositions, and other legal proceedings. While the position is primarily based in Dallas, TX, some remote work is acceptable. Must be able to appear in Dallas County Court (several years of court experience is required).

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in court and handle their own docket of cases from start to trial
  • Prepare and draft pleadings and pretrial motions on behalf of clients
  • Advise clients on litigation, and thoroughly review discovery to determine the best plans of defense in cases
  • Negotiate deals on cases
  • Preparation for trial and briefing
  • Strong legal research skills
  • Strong analytical skills, good people skills, and strong self-esteem
