Day-to-day:Draft legal correspondence, including answering informal and formal discovery.Develop and maintain billable hours for individual cases.Maintain and organize spreadsheets and timelines while managing new updates and deadlines in multiple cases.Assist with mediation and trial preparation by preparing and organizing relevant documents, expert material, pleadings, depositions, and exhibits.Organize financial documentation. Communicate with attorneys, clients, and support staff.Manage and prioritize projects to meet various deadlines.Requirements:2+ years of work experience as a Family Law Paralegal in a law firm.Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office.Strong verbal and written communication skills, i.e., legal writing.Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work with deadlines.
