Family Law Paralegal

We are a respected and client-focused family law firm, is seeking a dedicated Family Law Paralegal to join our Hackensack office. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting clients through sensitive legal matters, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

-Assist attorneys with all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, domestic violence, and post-judgment issues
-Draft pleadings, motions, certifications, CIS forms, discovery demands, settlement agreements, and correspondence
-Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines
-Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth case progression
-Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and hearing materials
-Support attorneys with case management and client communication
-Conduct basic legal research as needed

Qualifications


-3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law
-Strong understanding of New Jersey family court rules and procedures
-Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
-Compassionate, professional, and client-service oriented
-Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred
