Job Summary:

The Family Medicine Physician is a key figure in providing direct care to patients in a healthcare setting. They are responsible for taking a proactive approach to holistic patient health and preventative care. The Primary Care Physician is typically the initial point of contact for patients seeking medical consultations, and their role requires ongoing patient engagement and monitoring of care progress.

Key Duties:

1. Provide comprehensive care to patients in an outpatient setting.

2. Take detailed medical histories and conduct thorough physical examinations.

3. Identify, diagnose, and manage various health conditions and diseases.

4. Schedule and interpret diagnostic tests and provide referrals to specialists as necessary.

5. Coordinate and manage patient care with other health care professionals and staff.

6. Monitor patients' chronic conditions, give health education, and offer advice on disease prevention.

7. Keep meticulous records that detail each patient’s health care plan and progress.

8. Develop strong patient relationships built on understanding, excellent communication, and compassionate care.

9. Keep abreast of the latest developments in primary health care and integrate relevant findings into patient care strategy.

10. Adhere to ethical and legal standards pertaining to the medical profession at all times.

  • Arizona MD/DO License (Or able to obtain)
  • Completion of Family Medicine Training Program in USA (Excluding Puerto Rico)
