Estimated 90% of time involved in direct patient care. In outpatient setting, physician assistant/nurse practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, treat, admit, and provide consultation to patients 18 years and older. Patients will present with a wide variety of illnesses, diseases, injuries, and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, integumentary, nervous, reproductive, and genitourinary systems. Core duties include but are not limited to chronic disease prevention and management, complete physical exams, medication counseling, annual well-patient exams, and acute patient exams.
