As a Family Practice Physician, you'll play a vital role in our community's health by providing comprehensive care & collaborating with qualified mid-level providers. Salary: Up to $300K DOE & work schedule M-F, no weekends (full time & part time available) no hospital admitting

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose & treat patient's medical conditions

• Initiate & interpret labs and x-ray studies including CTs & MRIs

• Perform medical procedures

• Complete patients' charts indicating status & treatment procedures performed

• Conducting follow-up patient care, education & referrals

• Supervise patient care & support staff to ensure operational excellence

• Perform emergency lifesaving procedures in cases such as cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, massive hemorrhage, or similar emergencies

• Collaborate with nurse practitioners giving medical oversight, consultation & referrals of nurse practitioner patients

• Be present a minimum of ten percent (10%) of nurse practitioner's collaboration time

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited educational institution

• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Alabama

• Practiced medicine for at least three years

• Demonstrated expertise in relevant medical practices & emergency situations

• J-1 Visa accepted for employment
