FFS Psychotherapist in Group Practice Apply
Saya Psychotherapy LCSW, PLLC is New Yorks first Queer, South Asian, Muslim private group practice. We offer culturally affirming psychotherapy services to Asian American, Muslim, and LGBTQ+ clients and are currently looking for South Asian, BI/POC, and/or Queer identifying LMHC, MHC-LP, LMSWs, LCSWs and other mental health professionals to join our practice.
Please note that this is a fully remote FFS (fee for service) position. You will build up to a caseload of 10-12 clients/weekly and work with individuals, couples, and/or groups utilizing a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.
Asian American, BI/POC, and/or LGBTQ+ clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply!
REQUIREMENTS
LMHC, MHC-LP, LMSW, LCSW or other mental health profession
Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience working in a private practice or mental health setting
Must have an active NYS license and malpractice insurance.
Must be authorized to work in the USA and be based in New York
Familiarity with navigating Telehealth platforms such as SimplePractice
Strong interest/experience in working with Asian American, Muslim, and/or LGBTQ+ clients.
Ability to prioritize and integrate cultural humility and anti-oppressive practices into your therapeutic approach
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing and advertising on Psychology Today, South Asian Therapists, TherapyDen, etc as an individual provider in order to gain clientele.
Conduct individual, couples, group psychotherapy sessions
Document session notes, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Conduct phone consultations
Attend weekly individual supervision
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
50% client session fee split. We are currently an out-of-pocket practice so you are responsible for securing your own clients and setting your own client rates. It is recommended you start at $150 per session per client.
