Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our team. The Field Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing technical equipment and systems at client sites. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently in the field while representing the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): Perform comprehensive electrical testing on low and medium voltage switchgear and related equipment, including point-to-point verification, insulation resistance (IR) / Hi-Pot testing, and contact resistance measurements.

  • Instrumentation Verification: Conduct and validate instrument loop checks for temperature, pressure, and flow measurement systems.

  • PLC Automation: Design, program, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC-based automation systems for power distribution and control applications.

  • Commissioning Support: Provide on-site commissioning assistance for data center power distribution units (PDUs) and related electrical or automation systems.

  • Field Support & Travel: Travel to customer sites as required to support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.

  • Automation Projects: Contribute to automation and control system integration across multiple site environments.

  • Electrical Design: Develop and design electrical engineering drawings and documentation for power distribution units and associated systems.
 

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical and analytical skills with hands-on problem-solving ability.

  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently to job sites.

  • Familiarity with safety regulations and field operation procedures.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

Certifications:
  • OSHA-30
  • NFPA 70 E
