Summary:
-
Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements
-
Troubleshoot technical problems and determine solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications
-
Recommend corrective actions to internal teams and customer representatives
-
Assess product needs based on customer requirements
-
Conduct technical training sessions and product briefings
-
Serve as an on-site technical representative to the customer organization
-
Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and mechanical hardware
-
Perform soldering and de-soldering of circuit boards and harnesses
-
Work with bonding adhesives, including weighing, measuring, and mixing chemicals
-
Utilize hand tools and commercial/program-specific test equipment
-
Diagnose hardware using written procedures, engineering drawings, and schematics
-
Perform fault isolation to the component level
-
Lift up to 35 pounds as required
Requirements:
-
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
-
One of the following:
-
4-year degree
-
2-year degree with minimum 1 year of relevant experience
-
Equivalent technical degree
-
Relevant military experience
-
-
1 3 years of experience reading engineering drawings and schematics
-
1 3 years of electronic troubleshooting experience with component-level fault isolation
-
1 3 years of experience with electro-optical sensor hardware and software
-
1 3 years of commercial and/or military electronics maintenance experience
-
Experience operating and maintaining hand tools
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
-
1 3 years of experience with test equipment operation, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration
-
Experience using commercial test and measurement equipment such as:
-
Oscilloscopes
-
Digital multimeters
-
Rework and hand-soldering equipment
-
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
-
Familiarity with structured troubleshooting methodologies
