Field Manager - Hinkley Point C Role OverviewWould you like to join a truly international, talent driven company that values Safety, Ethics, Quality, Innovation and Employee Opportunity?Otis is growing and we are recruiting a Field Manager for our New installations team. The main goal of the role is to provide day-to-day management ensuring that engineers are briefed on activities, monitoring of H&S KPI’s and ensuring progress in line with contractual programmes. This individual will also lead operational efforts and ensure superior customer satisfaction. The role will be based at Hinkley Point.On a typical day you willEnsure all aspects of field safetyCarry out lift shaft surveysConduct Pre-start surveysConduct daily Health and Safety checks and auditsAttend site meetings and briefings.Ordering parts.Arranging deliveries to site.Liaising with subcontractors.Arranging and monitor installation tooling.Support project manager with labor planning.Writing and reviewing Method Statements and Risk Assessments.Manage the and record site activities.Maintain customer quality assurance, managing the expenditure of labor and materialsMeet with customers to ensure obligations and expectations are achievedDirect the performance of field maintenance and contractual service operationsConduct field education training with field workforceMaintain customer quality assurance, managing the expenditure of labor and materialsImprove efficiencies, managing route schedules and callback ratesProvide technical support, participating in sales estimation / proposals as requiredAuthorize repair ordersLead change to better efficiency and communicationWhat you will need to be successfulWork experience within a New equipment role or a Lift Engineering background.Experience with leading a team of engineers is preferredElevator industry experience is requiredExcellent communication skills and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environmentStrong computer and technology skills, business acumen and a passion for customer service.What’s In it For Me / BenefitsWe offer you a strong salary plus a company car or car allowance.Enrolment onto the FM Incentive schemeWe will train you intensively in the areas of technology, processes & soft skills and you can exchange ideas with experienced colleagues at any time.Apply today to join us and build what’s next!
