You are a collaborative communicator who can effortlessly bridge the gap between our project management team and the field, keeping a sharp eye on project execution, safety, and schedule. A DAY IN THE LIFE Field Leadership & Liaison: Serve as the critical link between Project Managers and the field, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on nationwide industrial electrical projects. Team Management & Mentorship: Direct, mentor, and train a growing field team of over 37 personnel, establishing clear reporting lines and structure. Process Implementation: Take the lead on developing, implementing, and enforcing standardized field procedures and operating processes to ensure accuracy and safety. Operational Oversight: Review constructible designs and coordinate field execution with engineers, owners, and construction teams. Tech & Budgeting: Leverage modern construction software suites to track project health, manage field budgets, and streamline purchasing coordination. Nationwide Field Support: Balance your time between corporate operational strategy (70%) and traveling to active project sites (30%) to review progress and support field crews. Necessary Qualifications Experience: ~10 years of construction field leadership experience. Strong background as a General Superintendent or Field Superintendent looking to step into a high-impact operations management role is highly preferred. Technical Background: Deep expertise in medium-to-heavy industrial electrical work, with a comprehensive understanding of major equipment power distribution and complex equipment installations. Software Proficiency: Experience utilizing basic construction software suites; hands‑on experience with Procore is a major plus, alongside familiarity with Bluebeam and procurement/purchasing software. Soft Skills: Exceptionally personable with a proven track record of mentoring, training, and managing large, diverse field crews (37+ team members). Logistics & Budgeting: Practical experience with field budgeting and coordinating labor/material deployment for complex industrial facilities. Travel & Location: Ability to travel up to 30% nationwide. Role will be based out of Downers Grove, IL or one of our Texas hubs.
