Job Description

Field Operations Manager – Commercial Building Systems

Location: Peachtree City, GA

We’re hiring a Field Operations Manager to lead execution across installation, service, and maintenance operations for complex commercial systems.

This is not a coordinator role.

This is a hands-on field leadership role with full accountability for safety, execution, and performance.

If you haven’t owned outcomes in the field—and improved them—this won’t be the right fit.

Company

Our client is the leader in engineered access solutions for aviation, defense, and industrial facilities—focused on delivering complex, large-scale systems where safety and execution are critical.

What You’ll Be Accountable For

- Leading technicians and subcontractors across multiple active job sites

- Delivering incident-free execution and enforcing safety standards

- Ensuring first-time quality installations (not managing rework after the fact)

- Owning labor productivity (planned vs. actual hours)

- Solving field problems in real time—not pushing them upstream

- Holding teams accountable to clear performance standards

What It Takes to Be Successful

- You’ve personally led field operations and been accountable for the outcome—not just the process

- You know the difference between a job that’s “done” and one that’s done right the first time

- You’ve had to walk onto a job site that’s off track—and get it back under control

- You understand how field execution impacts margin, schedule, and customer trust

- You’re comfortable making decisions in the field without waiting for perfect information

Minimum Requirements

- 5+ years leading field teams in construction, service, or industrial environments

- Experience managing subcontractors and holding them accountable

- OSHA 30 (or equivalent safety leadership experience)

- Track record of improving safety, quality, or productivity in the field

Why This Role

- High-visibility role with real ownership and autonomy

- Opportunity to standardize and elevate field execution

- Work on complex, large-scale systems where execution truly matters

If you’re a field leader who takes ownership, solves problems, and drives results, we should talk.

If your experience is primarily coordination, reporting, or support—this likely isn’t the role for you.
