Candidates must live within 50 miles of the office location in Euharlee, GA (zip 30120). Overview This is a Project Controls Manager position on an Advanced Power Generation project. The Bowen Unit 7 & 8 power project is 2 unit 1×1 combined cycle project producing 1,590MW of power for Georgia Power near Atlanta, Georgia. Someone who has prior field experience and both cost and schedule experience is preferred. The PCM leads a team of Project Controls (PJC) professionals and is able to positively influence internal and external clients on the most complex and highest risk projects and/or is able to function as a technical specialist developing advanced concepts. Project Controls Management Leads and develops PJC team on the most complex and highest risk projects in all aspects of Project Controls Collaborates with and is an integral part of the project management leadership team Identifies process improvements Leads project risk and change management Ensures implementation of PJC procedures & tools Ensures transparent project health visibility to the business Escalates project issues to PJC Leadership and provides resolutions Support administration of project reviews and resolution of resulting actions Ensure staff are meeting expectations and provide timely feedback Provides staff with development opportunities and coaching for career advancement Assist with succession planning within team Skills & Education Four-year Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years or more of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor’s degree required with 12+ years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in home office or field office Prefer Master’s degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management Experience serving in a leadership role for a medium- to large-sized EPC project in both home office and field preferred Prefer certificate from either PMI or AACE All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations Contact: To apply, please email your resume, including the position title in the subject line, to or share this position with your friends and colleagues with the links below. #J-18808-Ljbffr
