Acentra seeks a Field Representative and Trainer to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The Field Representative & Trainer plays a pivotal role in fostering positive provider relations and elevating the customer service experience. In addition, you will serve as the key conduit for provider education coordination, driving quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring a thorough understanding of Medicaid policies. You will be working with providers and networks using knowledge of Medicaid rules and regulations and will be responsible for onsite visits and provider education through specialized training, conducting in person workshops, and webinars.
* The position is hybrid, involving both remote work and field work. Preference will be given to candidates based in Casper, but applicants from anywhere within Wyoming will be considered, provided they are willing to travel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous and efficient service to providers and external customers, swiftly resolving provider issues through comprehensive education and utilization of relevant resources.
- Provide support to staff and providers for issues requiring extensive research and resolution skills.
- Conduct provider education to promote provider claims correction on their first response rather than stopping after each error and requiring the provider to resubmit multiple times for each claim.
- Work with provider networks through your knowledge of Medicaid rules and regulations.
- Support Medicaid providers, assisting them with resolution of billing issues, policy questions and other issues relevant to the program.
- Work with other team members and stakeholders to identify, document, track and ensure resolution of provider questions and issues from initial request to final resolution.
- Identify areas for improvement and make formal recommendations for Provider communication and/or training to improve providers’ Medicaid experience.
- Deliver in-person training to providers across Wyoming using in-person, instructor- led training seminars, and on-site provider visits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address provider inquiries and maintain service quality in alignment with contract requirements.
Requirements
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in provider relations/education or customer service.
- Prior experience working in the healthcare industry such as working with provider networks, insurance or healthcare rules and regulations.
- Proficient in creating and delivering educational training courses.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires 50-75% travel.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, education, or related business field.
- Must be comfortable with and be skilled in public speaking, training, and presenting in front of an audience.
- Computer literate using standard tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Outlook) and inquiry through web portal applications.
- Bilingual in Spanish

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $47,485-$60,000.
Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
