1 Resource Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced SR level Equipment Field Service Mechanic to join our client's team in the Harrison, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will excel in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This position involves traveling to customer sites to perform repairs and service, so strong mechanical skills along with excellent customer service abilities are essential. You will become an integral part of a dynamic team that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and maintaining equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on equipment used in construction, shops other industries.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks.
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all repairs and services performed.
  • Provide training and support to customers on equipment usage and maintenance practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Assist in inventory management and parts ordering as necessary.

As a Field Service Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of machinery and equipment, making a significant impact on operational efficiency and performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in field service repair or maintenance of equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of systems including hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • As a non-CDL driver, this field position would require a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, along with the ability to pass associated driver requirements to include MVR, driver physical, road test.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
