Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician is responsible for helping clients install, repair, and maintain equipment. They are responsible for showing customers how to use their equipment. A few of the main duties are troubleshooting the equipment, advising the customer on how to use the equipment, building relationships with customers, and following company procedures. The field service technician also must create reports of the customer service calls.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting equipment on-site and over-the-phone

• Climb/Work on top of tall structures between 20'-100' tall

• Climbing Ladders and stairs, working on top of grain silos

• Must use the proper PPE & adhere to safety guidelines with OSHA

• Will be subject to random drug screening

• Demonstrate how to use the equipment

• Build relationships with customers

• Create reports of the route serviced that day

• Follow all the company's procedures

• Meet all the appointments in a given day

• Respond quickly to customer problems

• Make equipment recommendations to customers

Requirements:

• High School Diploma and experience required

• Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more of the time

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds

• Strong computer skills

• Strong analytical, problem identification, and conflict resolution skills

• Great communication skills to work with customers

• Ability to diagnose problems with equipment

• Clean driving record

• Driver's License

Pay: $30,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
