Summary:

  • Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment and integrated systems.

  • Perform maintenance and technical support on products, subsystems, and software at customer or field locations.

  • Analyze product performance, troubleshoot issues, and diagnose malfunctions to minimize downtime.

  • Install, upgrade, and remove products while coordinating engineering field changes.

  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with customers; may provide on-site training.

  • Perform depot-level repairs, modifications, and refurbishments of M-TADS/PNVS components.

  • Conduct repair, rework, fault isolation, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing of mechanical, electrical, structural, and hydraulic subsystems.

  • Operate test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers, waveform generators).

  • Set up and operate milling machines and drill presses for mechanical component repair.

  • Use precision measuring tools to verify compliance with engineering specifications and tolerances.

  • Complete work in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, RCPs, FABs, and CIPs.

  • Document work in automated maintenance data systems per Apache Fire Control processes.

  • Provide technical feedback on electro-mechanical components to support reliability improvements.

  • Safely handle hazardous materials and chemicals, using PPE as required.

  • Perform limited supply and material handling duties (e.g., loading/unloading trucks, operating hoists).

Requirements:

  • Ability to Obtain Not Required to Start

  • Associate degree in a related discipline or 5 8 years of relevant experience.

  • 1 2 years' experience with solder certification (J-STD-001) for cable and harness repair.

  • 1 2 years' experience in troubleshooting and fault isolation using general-purpose or automated test equipment.

  • 1 2 years' experience operating test equipment and applying industrial/military standards and processes.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Experience handling hazardous materials and mixing/weighing chemicals.

  • Ability to properly safety wire assemblies and connectors.

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

  • Solder certification to J-STD-001 and IPC-7711/7721 (1+ year experience).

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
