Description:

• Will have them doing normal survey and helping install in Sarasota, Manatee and Tampa.
• Will be operating a Xylem vehicle or rental vehicle.
• Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with an 8-hour shift.
• We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Xylem.
• In this role, you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle-either a service truck or rental truck provided by Xylem-to various customer sites. Your primary duties will include performing plumbing repairs, conducting light service work on chemical pumps, sampling wastewater, and entering data into our computer system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a company vehicle to travel to customer sites.
• Perform repairs on plumbing systems and conduct light service work on chemical pumps
• Sample wastewater to monitor treatment levels and ensure compliance.
• Take tank level readings and calibrate pumps.
• Enter collected data into our computer system accurately.
• Work outdoors and be exposed to various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in computer skills for data entry and system use.
• Experience in plumbing and/or chemical pump maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Comfort with outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials.
• Capability to work in different environmental conditions.
• Additional Information:
• This position requires regular travel to customer sites.
• Training will be provided for specific tasks and company systems.
