Adecco has partnered with a global leader in Semi-Conductor component manufacturing in hiring a REMOTE Full Time Direct Hire Field Services Engineer in San Jose, California.You'll work from home and go on client's site as needed. ***These clients will be Semi conductor companies such as Intel, TSMC, Applied Materials, AMD, Micron Technology, Samsung Foundry, Blackwell etc.Salary Range: $100K-120K + Expense account related to Client site visitsHiring 4 REMOTE Field Service Engineer (FSE) in all 4 locations below:Boise, IDPhoenix, AZPortland, ORSan Jose, CAField Service Engineer (FSE) focuses on the maintenance, repair, and installation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, specifically in the fab (fabrication) and microfab (microfabrication) environments. They work with equipment used in processes like etching, CVD (chemical vapor deposition), PVD (physical vapor deposition), and CMP (chemical mechanical planarization). Their responsibilities also include servicing subfab (sub-fab) equipment (clean room experiences) and providing technical support to customers.Seeking someone with strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.Responsibilities:Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and fixing technical issues with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.Installation and Configuration: Setting up new equipment and configuring existing systems.Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.Customer Support: Providing training and support to customers on equipment usage.Collaboration: Working with engineers and other teams to address technical issues and ensure equipment reliability.Process Optimization: Contributing to the optimization of manufacturing processes.Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.Key Skills and Qualifications:Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems effectively.Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and engineers.Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and vacuum systems.Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.Experience in Semiconductor Industry: Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
