Field Services Engineer Apply
Role OverviewAn opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to support a growing portfolio of advanced CNC and precision engineering equipment across the UK.The role will focus on delivering high-quality service, maintenance and technical support to customers, ensuring equipment reliability and performance standards are consistently met. This is a field-based position involving nationwide travel with occasional overnight stays.Key DutiesPerform planned maintenance, inspections and technical upgrades on precision CNC equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on customer sitesRespond to breakdowns and restore equipment to operational status within agreed timeframesAssist with machine installations, commissioning and refurbishment projects where requiredComplete service documentation and maintain accurate technical recordsProvide professional and responsive customer supportLiaise with internal technical teams to resolve complex issues and maintain service standardsSkills & Experience RequiredEngineering apprenticeship or relevant technical qualificationMulti-skilled engineering background with strong mechanical knowledgeExperience working on CNC machinery, precision equipment or other capital machinery within manufacturing environmentsConfident fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systemsFull UK driving licenceSelf-motivated with the ability to manage workload independentlyFlexible to travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight staysStrong communication skills and a professional customer-facing mannerSalaryUp to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
